Uptake and implementation of guidelines Critically analyse the technical guidelines and instructions in terms of feasibility, efficacy and time efficiency for implementation. Facilitate the process of feedback system from CoPC+ sites for improvement of SoPs and guidelines. Coordinatewith Management Information System (MIS) team and suggest improvements and additional features to be incorporated in the MIS for effective and efficient data collection with the help of program team members. Coordination and linkages Ensure that necessary linkages are established with the public sector health facilities in different cities for routine and advanced medical referrals. Ensure COPC+ sites and respective AAUs have established system of good coordination. Maintain strong liaison with all ART physicians/ART clinics across project area to ensure quality service provision to program beneficiaries through close collaboration with provincial focal persons and Site Managers. Facilitate coordination & good liaison with security and law enforcing agencies in areas of intervention Liaise with Provincial AIDS Control Program and other partners for technical support. Present Nai Zindagi at different forums with fact-based information and to do advocacy as and when desired. Respond to emergency situations reported by CoPC+ sites as and when required (community, police, media issues or any other problem hindering the service delivery to PWIDs, their spouses and intimate partners. Routine Oversight Assist Director Operations to oversee program activities with the help of relevant component heads. Ensure implementation of Standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols and systems for all program services (NSP, HTC, Spouse component, Plus component, paramedic services and referral services for BMC, AMC, HCV, and AAU) Design strategies for efficient involvement of staff to achieve desired targets both in terms of quality and quantity of all services. Regularly review & update the performance with reference defined protocols and ensure application of these protocols in the desired manner. Review the work plans for each component with respective Site Managers and CoPC team members in accordance to previous service trends, existing potential, achieved targets in accordance with work plans and take actions for provision of health care services within the required time span. Capacity building To conceptualize, design, coordinate, conduct and supervise all capacity building initiatives under the Global Fund Grant to improve knowledge, skills and ethical standards of the project staff while delivering HIV prevention and harm reduction services to project beneficiaries. Evaluate performance of field teams, and coordinate with the PR program team to ensure regular capacity building of staff as per need. Performance Monitoring Track progress against targets, analyze data sets and make recommendations for enhanced program planning, coordination and management of the project. Ensure correct and timely data entry into NZMIS at CoPC+ sites and reconciliation of hard and soft data through supervisory visits and follow up correspondence. Ensure timely feedback to CoPC+ sites and SRs and follow-up on findings of monitoring visits to improve program delivery. Actively supervise CoPC+ sites operations for trouble shooting and quality of services. Review performance reports to ensure that SRs are in compliance with the sub-grant agreement as well as the performance expectations outlined in their work plan and in the performance framework. Identify gaps and plan, design and organize trainings/capacity building activities for program staff. Maintain liaison with partners for diagnosis and treatment of co-infections such as TB, Hepatitis C and STIs Perform any other tasks identified by the Director Operations that may be necessary to ensure that the program is implemented effectively. Develop and present set of required data analysis for programmatic decision making and reports to Director operations. Expected Output To manage and implement the project in an effective and efficient manner in accordance with the stipulated objectives and time frame. Ensure smooth delivery of NSP and associated services to the clients. Ensure delivery of quality health care services in an effective and efficient manner. Timely completion of periodic project reports in a wholesome manner covering all aspects of project implementation. Identification of need for training / refresher sessions for the program staff
